Good Backup tool on linux?

Would like to know what tool should I use to do backup on linux and sample script to do it.

Could someone have input on this?
Highly Appricate if you are willing to suggest a good backup strategy.

you can use command tar in linux, or some script tool, for example: simplebackup, fsbackup, bacula,...
