Cisco Certifications Reminder – Exam Retiring December 31, 2006
The Cisco Career Certifications program would like to remind you of the following exams retiring on December 31, 2006:
• Securing Cisco Network Devices (642-551 SND)
• Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (642-801 BSCI)
• Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks (642-811 BCMSN)
• Building Cisco Remote Access Networks (642-821 BCRAN)
• Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting Support (642-831 CIT)
• Composite (equivalent to BSCI & BCMSN) (642-891 Composite)
If you do not have an opportunity to take these exams before they retire please view the Certification exams page for more information on current exam requirements.
The following SP CCIE exams will also retire on February 1, 2007:
• CCIE SP Dial Exam (350-025)
• CCIE SP IP Telephony Exam (350-024)
• CCIE SP DSL Exam (350-022)
• CCIE SP Metro Ethernet Exam (350-027)
The topic of Metro Ethernet, however, will be included in the new comprehensive exam; see the CCIE SP Comprehensive Written Exam (350-029) Blueprint for details.
Candidates interested in any of these exams should schedule a testing date prior to their retirement. Don’t miss this last opportunity to take these exams!
