Firepower Thread Defence FTD là một bản hệ điều hành hợp nhất của ASA và Firepower. Phiên bản FTD cũng có phiên bản ảo có thể dùng trong VMWARE, cũng giống như vASA. Phiên bản này gọi là vFTD. Để quản lý FTD, chúng ta sẽ dùng Cisco FirePower Management Center FMC. Các tính năng mới có của FTD là
