Có thể lên trang Cisco.com để tìm kiếm với từ khóa là "Dynamic Configuration Tool".
Cộng cụ này cho phép lên cấu hình thiết bị chi tiết, bao gồm RAM/Flash, Network Module, WIC card và các module khác. Ưu điểm của công cụ này là cho phép người dùng kiểm tra được cấu hình của mình.
Cisco Dynamic Configuration Tool

Người dùng có thể chọn việc lên cấu hình theo họ sản phẩm (family) hoặc theo partnumber. Cách thuận tiện hơn giữa hai cách là chọn cấu hình theo sản phẩm.
Bước 1: Gõ vào số hiệu router ví dụ 3620,
Bước 2: Chọn chế độ Classic Menu Option để ra menu dễ chọn lựa hơn.
Bước 3: Chọn các module, số lượng từng module
Bước 4: Chọn Check Configuration sẽ hiện ra error nếu cấu hình chọn sai

Cấu hình xong bạn có thể chỉnh sửa lại và sử dụng tính năng gửi về mail của bạn. Bạn cũng có thể kết xuất output ra dạng Excell hoặc clear-text.
