2. Configure RIP
a.configure RIP on R1, R2 and R3.
RIP updates should only be sent on the serial links between the routers. Prevent all other RIP updates on all networks.
b. Test connectivity with the ping command.
c. Verify the routing table with the appropriate command.
3.Configure Basic Router Security
a. Enable a secure Telnet login using a local database on R2.
b. Disable unused services and interface on the R2.
c. Confirm that R2 is secured.
4. Configure Access Control Lists.
a. Allow telnet to R1 and R3 from R2 only.
b. Do not allow HTTP, Telnet, and FTP traffic from the Internet to PC1.
c. Do not allow PC1 to receive traffic from 10.0.0.128/25 network.
d. Verify that PC3 cannot ping to PC1,but can ping 10.0.0.1.
5. Configure NAT
a. configure NAT to allow PC3 to ping PC1.
b. Verify that PC3 can reach PC1.
