hỏi về Permanent Virtual Circuit và Switched Virtual Circuit !!
có 2 kiểu chuyển mạch
_circuit switching : establishes a dedicated circuit (or channel) between nodes and terminals before the users may communicate (trong giáo trình Cisco)
_packet switching : splits traffic data into packets that are routed over a shared network. Packet-switching networks do not require a circuit to be established, and they allow many pairs of nodes to communicate over the same channel.
Trong Packet-switching , Packet-switched networks may establish routes through the switches for particular end-to-end connections. These routes are called virtual circuits. Có 2 kiểu VC:
_PVC (Permanent Virtual Circuit): A permanently established virtual circuit that consists of one mode: data transfer
PVCs are generally configured by the service provider when an order is placed for service.
_SVC (Switched Virtual Circuit) : A VC that is dynamically established on demand and terminated when transmission is complete
các bác cho em hỏi nếu mà như các khái niệm trên theo Cisco thì sự khác nhau giữa PVC trong Packet-switching và Circuit switching là gì ạ???
e thấy chúng đều là thiết lập 1 kênh dedicated đó chứ à . Hay là thế này : cái PVC thì cái kênh ảo (VC ) đó được tạo ra permanently nhưng nhiều user có thể sử dụng ( đặc tính của packet-switching) còn cái kênh dedicated của ông Circuit-switching thì đúng nghĩa là dedicated, tức là chỉ 1 user sử dụng mà thôi :D
không biết e hiểu thế có đúng ko nhỉ :D
